Admission Requirements


Christ Image Bible College admits students of any race, color, sex, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. CIBC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin in the administration of any of its policies or programs.

Certificate program 
There are no minimum entrant qualification prerequisites for the Certificate of Ministry. Students who have passed the 8th grade may enroll for the Certificate program. Students must submit a completed Application form for admission

Diploma Degree   
The Prospective student must: 

  • Possess a high school certificate, Certificate in Theology or equivalent Diploma;
  • Provide Transcripts of all high school and /or Theological qualifications with a grade of at least 2.5 (on a scale of 4.0) or equivalent from an accredited Institution;
  • Submit a completed Application form for admission.

Bachelor’s Program
The Prospective student must:

  • Possess a high school certificate or equivalent Diploma;
  • Competence in theology may be demonstrated by having completed a minimum of a Diploma in Theological Studies with a balanced curriculum; 
  • Provide a complete transcript of previous academic work;
  • Submit a completed Application form for admission.

Master's program 
The Prospective student must:

  • Have a Bachelors Degree or its foreign equivalent from an accredited college or university.
  • Provide Transcripts of all high school and /or undergraduate work with a grade of at least 2.5 (on a scale of 4.0) or equivalent from an accredited Institution. Provide transcripts of any graduate courses, showing a grade of B or higher (3.0) on a scale of 4.0 or its equivalent from an accredited institution, (see transfer of credits).
  • Submit a completed Application form for admission.
  • Provide a professional resume.

Doctoral Program 
Admission to the Doctoral Program is on the basis of high competence in theological ministry, as well as motivation to do research in a recognized area of ministry. Competence in theology may be demonstrated by having completed a minimum of a Master of Theology with a balanced curriculum, including disciplines in biblical studies, ethics, Christian leadership, education, or counseling. A complete transcript of previous academic work is to be submitted before an application can be acted on.

NOTE: Students desiring admission into CIBC must complete and submit a completed application packet to CIBC Admissions Office or complete an online application form. Completed application forms must be signed and accompanied by personal references, related admissions documentation, and pay the non-refundable application fee before an application can be acted on.
